Contrary to house standards, she has taken a darker color for the background, as she is a widow in mourning.

The Sunchoke family crest is traditionally a border of sunroot flowers, yellow and green, surrounding whatever emblem the current most bearer holds dearest, on a light color of choice. Some designs can get very elaborate as additions and elaborations are added.

Nextus prefers to keep things simple. White to acknowledge his service to the Argents, and the symbol of his people because he is, as ever, their humble servant.
